TEMPO
App & Privacy

Privacy policy.

Your training log belongs to you. This policy explains how Tempo stores workout data and how its Dashboard advertisement works.

Workout data

Tempo stores the workout names, types, dates, sets, repetitions, weights, durations, and distances you enter in the app’s private storage on your device. You do not need an account. Tempo does not upload your workout log to a developer server or pass workout names or metrics in advertising requests.

Advertising

Tempo uses Google AdMob to display one banner near the end of the Dashboard. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process an IP address, device or app identifiers, advertising interactions, crash logs, and performance data to provide, measure, and improve ads. Tempo disables ad personalization and its publisher first-party ID. The app asks for advertising consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform where required, and only requests an ad when that platform indicates it may do so.

Your choices

Where required, you can review or change advertising consent in Tempo’s App & Privacy screen. You can report an inappropriate ad using the ad’s AdChoices control. You can edit or delete individual workouts in Workout Log. Deleting Tempo removes its local app data from your device; Apple-managed device backups may contain app data according to your backup settings.

Device access

Tempo does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, photos, microphone, or Apple Health. It is a workout journal, not a medical service.
